At the same time, in many cases, the words “worked according to Revshare” are encountered every now and then – is it a paradox? What is RevShare and CPA payment model and what is the difference

RevShare (Revenue Share) –the webmaster receives income from the advertiser's profit (mainly from online casinos). That is, you flooded the traffic, users began to play and lose money, and you are paid a certain percentage of the amount of money they lost in the casino. At the same time, it is important to take into account that:

 

  • Traffic pays off in the long run, up to a year.
  • If your lead wins against an online casino, it can affect the amount of your income.
  • Revshare income can be temporary. For example, after six months, you may stop paying money for an attracted lead.

 

It is for these reasons that beginners are afraid to work with Revshara, making a choice in favor of CPA - the webmaster receives payment from the advertiser for performing the desired action by the referred user. CPA vs RevShare – pros and cons

In the case of the CPA model, it is important to understand that the payment will be made immediately after the referred user completes the target action - and that's it. That is, even if such a user pours millions into the casino, you will not get a cent from this. Simply put, the CPA model has the following advantages:

 

  • No need to wait for the results of the lead game - whether the player wins or loses does not matter.
  • Allows you to quickly replenish the finances invested in traffic - especially important for beginners whose budgets do not allow you to remain without profit for a long time.
  • The audience is almost irrelevant - almost every person at least once in his life tried to "try his luck." If the user has already clicked on the link at all, most likely he will “try once”, and you don’t need more when working on the CPA model.

 

And the following disadvantages:

It is for this reason that RevShar often appears in cases - beginners rarely have exclusive experience behind them that can be shared with someone, and gurus, as a rule, choose RevShare.

 

When is the CPA model relevant?

Despite the obvious benefits of RevShare, the CPA model also has a right to exist. In the end, it is not for nothing that many webmasters make their choice in favor of CPA. This model is ideal for those who:

 

  • They are just starting to get acquainted with the gambling vertical and do not want to take risks.
  • They prefer to see the result of their work "here and now."
  • They do not have the opportunity to remain without profit for a long time and need a turnover.
  • Poorly versed in the psychology of the target audience and do not know how to identify and attract a gambling addict.

 

So what is still better - CPA or RevShare

There is no and cannot be an unequivocal answer to this question, because the question itself, despite the fact that many webmasters ask it, is fundamentally incorrect. These are two fundamentally different approaches to the form of cooperation, and both of these approaches have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on the situation and the professional qualities of the affiliate.

 

And although, in general, the choice in favor of the RevShare model provides for the potential opportunity to get more profit than the choice in favor of the CPA model, in fact, a particular webmaster is far from always able to take advantage of this opportunity.
